Specialist Certificate in School Psychology
This online specialist certificate is designed for graduates of Capella University’s master's specialization in School Psychology. It includes a rigorous combination of online course work, part II of a year-in-residence, and field training experiences. The master's specialization in School Psychology and the certificate program in School Psychology in combination are designed to prepare learners to apply for a license or a certificate to practice as a school psychologist.
Please note: Only graduates of Capella University's master's specialization in school psychology can apply.

Learners seeking licensure in Arizona must secure a Structured English Immersion endorsement (SEI). Capella University has entered into an alliance with Rio
Salado College regarding course work for the SEI endorsement. Learners who need this endorsement are encouraged to contact academicadvisement@mail.riosalado.edu to discuss the necessary courses and the application process at Rio Salado College
